Rawalpindi: An exchange of fire took place between security forces and terrorists in Spinwam area of North Waziristan in which a terrorist was killed.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, the security forces effectively targeted the hideouts of the terrorists, during which one terrorist was killed and two others were injured in a fierce exchange of fire.
According to ISPR, arms and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the terrorists. The slain terrorist was involved in terrorist acts against security forces as well as killing of innocent civilians.
According to the spokesperson of the Pakistan Army, the local people appreciated the operation and expressed full cooperation to end the scourge of terrorism from the area.
