ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has set up a Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for the earthquake victims of Turkiye.
This was announced by Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb in a tweet. She said the federal cabinet has announced to donate one-month salary to the relief fund.
The prime minister has also appealed to affluent people to help generously for the earthquake victims of Turkiye, she added.
Meanwhile, the PAF’s C-130 Hercules aircraft carrying members of a search & rescue team and blankets from PAF Base Nur Khan has landed in Turkiye.
The PAF aircraft was carrying relief goods from people of Pakistan for the earthquake affected brethren of Turkiye, a PAF news release said.
