DUBAI: Hotel Indigo Dubai Downtown’s urban speakeasy cocktail bar, Off The Wall, is set to host a special #ShowYourSatwa event in collaboration with award-winning experiential F&B and lifestyle brand, Moreish by K.
To be held on May 27 from 9pm till late, there are two packages to choose from — AED150 for unlimited soft beverages and pass around street food, and AED250 for three house beverages and unlimited pass around street food.
Paying homage to the bright lights and the bustling streets of the Satwa neighbourhood, guests can expect special cocktails, delicious street food, and a DJ spinning the Old School and R&B classics all night long. It’s one night dedicated to the nostalgia.
As the name suggests, the community is invited to join and show off their Satwa by bringing an item, dress, or memoir that represents the dearest memories in line with the theme of the night.
In the kitchen, Moreish by K will be designing an exclusive menu of street food revolving around creativity and storytelling, inspired by her fondest foodie memories growing up in Dubai, where she spent many days hanging out with friends in Satwa.
Kunwal promises the party to be bursting with flavour, blending contemporary and well-loved street food dishes.
The creative energy flows not only in the street food and art on the walls but also in the cocktails specially curated for the event. For this night only, all signature cocktails will be inspired by Satwa, such as a Laban Up-inspired Drink, the cocktail famously known as ‘Nokia 63’ as well as others like ‘Abood’ & the infamous ‘Bullfrog’.
There are more surprises, as mixologists will push their creative boundaries to serve up crafted beverages worthy of the ‘gram.
