Lahore: Muslim League (Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat has discussed the formation of caretaker government in a meeting with Co-Chairman People’s Party Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House in Lahore.
According to the details, the two leaders also contacted the leadership of Muslim League (N) and discussed the latest situation in Punjab. Besides, Chaudhry Shujaat congratulated Asif Ali Zardari on his success in local body elections in Sindh.
It was informed in this regard that the meeting between Asif Zardari and Chaudhry Shujaat lasted for about an hour and during that time Chaudhry Shafi Hussain and Chaudhry Salik Hussain were also present.
Sources said that in the meeting other political situation including national and Punjab general elections were also considered while both the leaders expressed their agreement that the country’s economy is currently facing serious economic challenges.
The two leaders agreed that we all have to work together to manage Pakistan’s economic challenges so that if the economy is strong, so will the politics.
