The Defense Minister said that steps are being taken to control it and the people themselves have risen up against the whole situation, it is very encouraging that people are coming out on the streets against terrorism and extremism.

He said that the situation in Swat is basically the failure of the government there.

The leader of Muslim League Nawaz said that it is hoped that the situation will be controlled, we have sacrificed many of our soldiers, there should not be a political discussion in the matter of security and now the army itself is saying that we are neutral.
