Islamabad: The Chief Election Commissioner has issued instructions to remove the spokesperson for issuing a statement regarding the by-elections.
According to Leading News, Haroon Shinwari, the spokesperson of the Election Commission, issued a statement regarding the by-elections without the instructions of the higher officials.
Sources say that the Chief Election Commissioner has issued instructions to remove Haroon Shinwari from the position due to irresponsible behavior of the spokesman.
It should be noted that two days ago, the spokesperson of the Election Commission, while responding to Imran Khan’s statement regarding the resignation of the assemblies, said that we are ready for the elections on the said seats in ninety days. He said while talking about the expenses incurred on one seat of the by-election, that even if there are expenses of crores of rupees and there is a lack of funds at the moment, but according to the law, the Election Commission will do its work.
