Quetta: The survey of damages caused by rains and floods in Balochistan has been completed, according to which 336 people died in rains and floods.
Director General PDMA Nasir Ahmad Nasir released a survey report on the damage caused by floods and rains in Balochistan, which stated that 187 people were injured during the monsoon rains while 321 thousand 19 houses were destroyed and 590 people were injured. Crops standing on 439 hectares were damaged.
The report stated that 2 lakh 92 thousand 526 cattle were washed away in flood channels while 103 dams, 2 thousand 221 km of national and inter-provincial and link highways were affected.
The survey report of PDMA states that during the floods, more than 10 lakh people were provided with relief goods, while relief checks were distributed to the families of 336 people who died.
