Mumbai: Indian actress Swastika Mukherjee has accused Sandeep Sarkar, the co-producer of her upcoming film Shibpur, of sexual harassment.
According to Indian media reports, Swastika is related to Bengali and Hindi cinema of India. The actress says that the producer Sandeep Sarkar sent her photoshopped photos of the actress on email and threatened to make these photos viral on the internet.
The actress has also lodged an FIR with the police against the producer and his colleagues. Swastika Mukherjee has also submitted a copy of the threatening emails sent by the accused along with the FIR.
The actress also told the police that Sandeep told her that he is an American citizen and if the actress did not cooperate with him, he would talk to the American consulate and after that Swastika would never get a US visa.
