Sharjah, 18th November 2022: The Sheikh Sultan Award for Celebrating the Spirit of Youth will continue to receive submissions for its third session until 30 November. This will grant those interested in participating more time to complete their applications based on the required criteria in the award’s various medals.
Young UAE citizens and residents between the ages of 13 to 18 are invited to take part in this annual award, which recognises the talents and potentials of the youth and urges them to empower their societal responsibilities and self-confidence by unleashing their capabilities. Those interested in taking part may do so by downloading the app via App Page (qrco.de).
According to Hamda Rashid bin Al-Sheikh, project coordinator at the award, the award witnessed a great turnout by young people and adolescents because it helped uncover and develop their potential and talents. It also instils in them important social traits and values, such as teamwork, volunteering and competition.
Extending the duration for receiving applications will grant the youth more time to submit their applications following their enquiries regarding the award’s application process, criteria, and terms and conditions.
Bin Al-Sheikh stressed that the increasing participation over the past two years reflects the award’s status and importance among the youth. She also highlighted that the inherent positive and constructive competition it instils in them supports their development and puts them on a path to the future towards progressing the country and consolidating its gains and achievements.
