Islamabad: The Ministry of Interior has said that there is a threat of suicide attack on the PTI Long March.
A letter was also sent by the Ministry of Interior to Asad Umar, citing the recent incidents of terrorism in the country, saying that extremist parties may carry out a terrorist attack on PTI’s long march.
It has been said in the letter that there is fear of action by external elements in the attack, public gatherings may be targeted by terrorism, suicide or bomb attack may also occur in public gatherings.
In the letter issued by the Ministry of Interior, it has been said that in view of security measures, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf should postpone the public meeting in Rawalpindi.
