RAWALPINDI: The security forces killed three terrorists whereas a soldier embraced martyrdom while thwarting a terrorist attack on a military post near Wali Tangi area of Quetta.
“On 14 September 2023, at 1830 hours, terrorists attacked a post of security forces near Wali Tangi Quetta,” the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release said on Friday.
The martyred soldier was identified as Subedar Qaiser Raheem who while fighting valiantly embraced Shahadat in the line of duty whereas another soldier was seriously injured.
“Security Forces of Pakistan will continue to thwart efforts of the enemies of peace and prosperity in the country,” the ISPR said.
