Artist – Beenish Malik: Wildlife Enthusiast with a Heart for Abstract Art

Hailing from Pakistan and now residing in Dubai, Beenish Malik is a compliance professional by day and a self-taught artist at heart. Balancing two contrasting worlds, her artistic journey is deeply inspired by nature and wildlife, which comes to life in her expressive acrylic paintings. Her fascination with animals and their natural habitats is evident in her striking depictions of a leopard and horses, on display at the exhibition. Artist Rouhollah Safavi: Master of Marquetry and Woodcarving

Iranian artist Rouhollah Safavi brings a museum-quality collection of intricate woodwork, showcasing his dedication to preserving the traditional crafts of marquetry and woodcarving. With over a decade of experience, Safavi’s art reflects the rich heritage of Persian culture, where each piece tells a story of meticulous craftsmanship and artistic expression. His four exhibited works, comprising between 150 to 200 intricately cut and assembled pieces of wood from 15 to 17 different tree species, are masterfully crafted mosaics. Each piece of wood is carefully selected for its natural colour and texture, resulting in vibrant panels that portray emotional depth and artistic precision. Safavi’s creations evoke a sense of nostalgia and reverence for traditional Iranian art, while also pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved through woodcarving. Artist Thauheeda Thameem: The Visionary of Mixed Media

With over five years of experience in creating unique and emotionally resonant artworks, Thauheeda Thameem has emerged as a visionary in mixed media art. Her deep passion for arts and crafts, nurtured from an early age, shines through in her three exhibited pieces: Entering the Radiant Serenity, Sprinkled with Love, and Serene Voyage through Realms of Breakthrough. These dreamy, blue-focused artworks convey a sense of emotional depth and introspection. Thameem’s work is characterised by originality and a strong emotional core. She aims to build meaningful connections through her art, using mixed media techniques to explore the complexities of human experience. The layered textures, soothing colour palettes, and abstract forms in her paintings invite viewers into a world of contemplation, where art becomes a bridge between the inner self and the external environment. Artist Annamalai Bharati: A Tribute to Sheikh Zayed and the UAE

Indian artist Annamalai Bharati rounds out the exhibition with a tribute to the UAE, specifically through his painting of Sheikh Zayed.
