Islamabad: Two Kashmiris were martyred and one was injured due to unprovoked firing by the Indian Army on the LoC.
According to ISPR, the Indian Army resorted to unprovoked firing in Stowal sector of the Line of Control (LoC) due to which two civilians were martyred and one civilian was injured. Local sources have confirmed the deaths and injuries of civilians.
According to sources, the Indian Army opened fire on goat herders near the LoC. The deceased were identified as 22-year-old Obaid Qayyum and 55-year-old Mohammad Qasim, both residents of Hajira Tehsil of Poonch district.
The ISPR has said that Pakistan reserves the right to retaliate as it wishes to protect the lives of Kashmiris on the LoC.
