Islamabad: Two terrorists were killed and one Naik was martyred in two separate operations of security forces in North and South Waziristan, a hideout of terrorists was also destroyed in South Waziristan.
According to ISPR, on April 8, there was an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in Razmak area of North Waziristan, in which the security forces effectively targeted the location of the terrorists and the terrorist was killed in the exchange of fire. Arms and ammunition have been recovered from the slain terrorist.
According to ISPR, there was an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in Karama district of South Waziristan and after a fierce encounter, a hideout of terrorists was destroyed while one terrorist was killed.
Naik Fazal Janan, who is a native of District Hangu, was martyred while fighting bravely during the bilateral firing in this encounter. Naik Fazal Shaheed was 32 years old and he has left a widow, two sons and three daughters among the mourners.
The ISPR has further said that the clearance process is going on in the area to eliminate more terrorists found in the area, Pakistan’s security forces are determined to end the menace of terrorism. Such sacrifices of our brave soldiers strengthen our resolve, we salute the martyrs of our country.
