The Bureau is fully decked with everything from offices, workspaces, a fitness class studio, vanity rooms, and even a pumping room for new mothers
Dubai: The Bureau Business Center (The Bureau), UAE’s first purpose-built female-focused co-working space is now open in Dubai’s Gold & Diamond Park. Co-founded by Dubai-raised sisters Nikita and Rhea Patel to create a distinct space that is welcoming, supportive, and encourages women to share space, ambition, and energy.
The Bureau offers an array of cosy and beautifully designed spaces, including private offices, meeting rooms, co-working lounges, as well as a podcast studio and phone booths. On the personal front, there is a fitness studio, NAŌ, a pumping room for new mothers, and a vanity room with showers and lockers. Further, the in-house cafe, Jones the Grocer, will be serving a plethora of coffees, snacks, and healthy mains. Both the fitness studio and cafe are open to members and non-Bureau members.
Founder Rhea Patel said: “I have always been a big believer that a good workspace is the key to productivity, and the first step towards a happier work life. Everyone has varied work styles and preferences, and it is important to cater to diverse profiles. Some may seek motivation in the form of community, some find it in great design, and others by adaptable work solutions. We have really taken the time to understand customer needs, to the extent that we even have a pumping room for breastfeeding mothers. Our goal was to create something that truly enhances lifestyles, and creating good energy and culture is at the core of our purpose.”
The Bureau is far more than a workspace or an office solution. This unique coworking space is centred around housing and building communities of people who believe in life-long learning, sharing experiences, and supporting one another. Providing truly purposeful networking and growth opportunities, the space offers an array of events and mentorship programs, including traditional and reverse mentorship, industry-specific matches, and more. Topics and themes include financial empowerment, women’s mental and physical health, and a taboo talks series. Ahead of its opening, The Bureau has already built a strong network of Founding Members, entrepreneurs, freelancers, and corporate partnerships, who are set to support and share their experience with The Bureau community.
“With the way the world and workplaces have evolved post-pandemic, my sister and I believed this was the perfect time for a solution such as The Bureau. Our vision is to combine the convenience of your office with the comfort of your home. The Bureau is the first of its kind in the UAE and the reception since we opened our doors has been overwhelmingly positive! The plan was never to build just one; once we perfect our model, our next step is to expand The Bureau across MENA, South Asia and beyond,” added Nikita.
Membership plans include monthly and annual options, short and long-term private office rental, social membership plans, student plans, and a day pass option. Rates start from AED 120 for a day pass, AED 950 for coworking membership, and AED 3,000 for private office rental.
