New DSL League is set to welcome 54 teams in the first quarter of 2022
Ajman: Shahram Cricket Club lifted the trophy after beating the Titan Cricket Club at the Desert Super League (DSL) Cricket Cup held in Ajman. Shahram Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat. They scored 203 runs for even wickets with batter Saghar hitting 45 runs in just 33 balls.
Batters from the Titans Cricket Club could not take the pressure and scored only 113 runs in reply. According to organisers, some 54 teams competed in 200 league matches during the DSL Cricket Cup.
Omar Hayat, organizer of the DSL, said he was very pleased with the success of the DSL league in Ajman. “With the next edition of DSL set to welcome 52 teams, we hope to see more exciting games during the first quarter of 2020
