The government has officially approved the upgradation of federal government employees up to grade 15, acknowledging the long-standing demand of federal government employees.
In this regard, after the approval of the Prime Minister, an office memorandum has been issued by the Ministry of Finance according to which the posts of Upper Divisional Clerks (UDC) and Lower Divisional Clerks (LDC) have been upgraded, Grade 1. Federal employees in Grade 5 to 5 have got 2 scale upgradation while Federal employees in Grade 6 to 15 have been upgraded by 1 scale.
Similarly, Lower Divisional Clerks have been upgraded from Grade 9 to 11 while Upper Divisional Clerks have been upgraded from Grade 11 to 13, Grade 16 employees will also get an additional increment.
