ALGIERS: Visa services for Austria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland and Ukraine are now available to the residents of Algeria at the new VFS Global premises located at 1 Tripoli Street Hussein Dey, Algiers.
Travellers can apply for their long and short stay visas to these 11 countries at the new state-of-the-art centre.
The centre was inaugurated on February 22, 2024 by His excellency Mr. Illija Zeladik – Ambassador of Croatia, His excellency Pekka Hyvonen – Ambassador of Finland, Her Excellency Miss Janna Van der Verde – Ambassador of the Netherlands, Her Excellency Miss Theresa Loken Gheziel – Ambassador of Norway, Mr Oleksandr Kompaniett – Chargé d’affaires of Ukraine, Ms Randi Lillian Mortensen Adoum – Vice Consul of Denmark, Mr Frank Simon – Head of Visa Section of Germany, Mr Dionysios Douroumis – Head of Visa Section of Greece, Mr. Hauri René – Head of Visa Section for Switzerland and Mr. Johan Virassamynaick, Regional Head – North Africa, VFS Global.
Mr. Johan Virassamynaick, said, “We are excited to bring our visa services to the residents of Algeria through this state-of-the-art visa application centre. Applying for a visa is one of the first steps to international travel, and we look forward to making it smooth and convenient for our travellers.”
