ABU DHABI: Victor Abou-Ghanem, Chief Executive Officer of STORY Hospitality, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Capital Group, is driving the company’s expansion with decades of global experience in hospitality and investment management.
With a career spanning four continents, Abou-Ghanem has built a reputation for strategic leadership in financial structuring, mergers and acquisitions, operational excellence and large-scale asset development across family-owned businesses, private enterprises and private equity-backed organisations. His core focus remains on scaling hospitality assets and optimising profitability in competitive global markets.
He has previously worked with several leading international hotel groups, including Rixos Hotels, Dorchester Collection, Rocco Forte Hotels and Kempinski Hotels, contributing to their growth and operational transformation across different regions.
Academically, Abou-Ghanem holds an Executive MBA from IE Business School in Madrid and a Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality Management from EHL Hospitality Business School, Lausanne. He is also a Certified Management Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst, combining financial expertise with operational leadership.
Fluent in French, Arabic and English, he brings a global perspective to his role while strengthening STORY Hospitality’s position in the luxury hospitality sector. Outside of professional life, he is a fitness enthusiast, enjoys kitesurfing, football and Formula 1, and has travelled to more than 40 countries, experiences which he believes shape his management approach and cultural understanding.
