Art4you Gallery celebrates UAE National Day with live camel art

Dubai witnessed a vibrant cultural showcase as Art4you Gallery hosted a unique Camel Live Art Celebration on 23 November 2025 at Mehromah Art House, commemorating the 54th UAE National Day. Artists from multiple countries created live artworks on specially designed camel-shaped wooden sculptures, turning a historic national symbol into expressive narratives of heritage, unity and pride.

The camel—an enduring emblem of Emirati resilience and desert legacy—formed the centre of the creative concept. Each participating artist received an eco-friendly wooden sculpture and was invited to reimagine the spirit of the UAE through their individual artistic lens, blending traditional symbolism with contemporary expression.

Artists including Nithin Umesh, Anastesia Novokreshchenova, Natalia Vityugova, Thanmaya K, Mariia Bikbulatova, Ekaterina Novokreshchenova, Vasilisa Eliseeva, Shaji Kundathil, Gayatri Simit Shah, Irina Pavlova, Jyoti Devdar, Sofia Kachurina, Maria Agnes, Jesno Jackson, Lavaya Varma, Aimee George, Saura Ramjathan, Christina Gabriela, Mozhgan Afrisham, Eva Andreeva and Asjad Elsayed took part, representing countries such as Russia, India, Iran, Australia, Romania and the Philippines.

Curator Jesno Jackson said, “The camel is not merely an animal in our culture — it represents our living history. Through these sustainable sculptures, artists have narrated the emotional, cultural and spiritual journey of the UAE. This is meaningful art with responsibility.”

Over the course of the session, 22 artworks were produced and evaluated on originality, execution and thematic relevance. While some artists received special recognition, all were honoured with certificates acknowledging their contribution. Sustainability remained central to the initiative, reinforced through the use of eco-friendly, reusable wooden sculptures.

The event drew prominent VIP guests, cultural figures, media representatives and art patrons, who interacted with artists and witnessed the live creative process. Art4you Gallery CEO Rengi Cherian remarked, “This celebration reflects our commitment to integrating culture, sustainability and global artistic exchange. The UAE is a nation of vision, and through art we translate that vision into shared experiences.”

Art4you Gallery extended congratulations to all participating artists for their dedication and cultural sensitivity, noting that each artwork added a distinct voice to the celebration and elevated the event into an inspiring artistic experience.

The UAE National Day Live Art Celebration served as a powerful expression of Art4you Gallery’s mission to connect art with sustainability, community and cultural storytelling. Aligned with the UAE’s long-term vision of innovation grounded in tradition, the event reinforced that art is not merely decorative — it stands as a living chronicle of identity, unity and progress.
