DUBAI: Marking a highly successful first year of operations, leading on-demand delivery platform Lalamove has announced a massive nationwide expansion across all seven emirates alongside the launch of two new specialized services.
Capitalizing on its explosive growth, the platform has also inaugurated a brand-new corporate office in Dubai to serve as its operational base for supporting local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
According to the company, Lalamove surpassed its initial first-year targets in the UAE, expanding its driver partner network ten times over and servicing more than 50,000 users.
Empowering SMEs Ahead of e-Commerce Boom
The expansion comes at a critical time as the UAE’s e-commerce market is projected to skyrocket to $9.2 billion by 2026. Local merchants increasingly require agile logistics to handle massive seasonal order spikes during Eid, Diwali, Valentine’s Day, and national holidays.
Lalamove’s flexible model allows retailers, florists, and home-based businesses to manage first-mile stock replenishment and last-mile fulfillment seamlessly without the burden of fixed fleet costs.
“Our first year in the UAE has shown strong demand for flexible, on-demand delivery among local businesses,” said Ashvin Nair, Managing Director of Lalamove UAE. “With the introduction of larger trucks and shared delivery services, we can now better support businesses of different sizes while helping them avoid the high costs of maintaining their own fleets.”

Two New Services Unveiled
In direct response to feedback from commercial clients, Lalamove has officially rolled out two new features:
Heavy-Duty Fleet Addition: The inclusion of 1-ton and 3-ton trucks to handle bulk office moves, heavy commercial goods, and large stock transfers securely across emirates.
Lalamove Pooling (Shared Delivery): A cost-effective, budget-friendly option allowing multiple businesses to share cargo space for non-urgent shipments.
Driving Flexible Earning Opportunities
The logistics giant’s 10x fleet growth has also created lucrative, independent earning opportunities for driver partners across the Emirates, backed by optimized route planning and transparent tracking models.
“Switching to Lalamove has given me steady work and a predictable income,” shared Sadaqat Ali, a local Lalamove Driver Partner. “Having the flexibility to choose my own hours, combined with steady demand from local shops, has made this a great full-time opportunity.”
With the UAE’s last-mile delivery market forecasted to hit $4.85 billion by 2030, Lalamove enters its second year well-positioned to scale up commercial teams and deepen partnerships with local chambers of commerce.
