DUBAI: Dubai WoodShow 2026 has recorded strong commercial activity, with organisers announcing that business deals worth more than AED250 million were concluded on the opening day of the three-day exhibition.
Being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from June 22 to 24, the event has welcomed 5,280 visitors and participants from 80 countries, reinforcing its position as one of the region’s leading exhibitions for the timber, woodworking machinery and manufacturing technology sectors.
The exhibition features more than 400 exhibitors, over 600 international brands, five country pavilions and participants from more than 45 countries, bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, buyers and industry leaders from across the global timber value chain.
According to organisers, the second day of the exhibition maintained strong commercial momentum, with business meetings, supplier-buyer engagements and direct negotiations continuing throughout the event.

An on-site survey conducted among exhibitors found that the value of deals signed on the opening day exceeded AED250 million, reflecting strong business confidence and growing demand across the sector.
The exhibition also welcomed Saudi WoodShow Chief Executive Officer Saud Al Sheikh, who highlighted preparations for the upcoming Saudi WoodShow, scheduled to be held in Riyadh from September 1 to 3, 2026. He said the event is expected to attract broad international participation from leading companies in the timber industry.
Exhibitors praised the quality of organisation and visitor engagement, noting increasing market demand for advanced machinery, smart manufacturing systems, automation technologies, innovative materials and digital solutions aimed at improving efficiency and competitiveness.
The conference programme focused on the future of the wood industry, highlighting topics including advanced wood processing technologies, sustainable timber sourcing, artificial intelligence, CNC systems, 3D printing and environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices.
Discussions also examined the role of the UAE Vision 2031, the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and the country’s Net Zero 2050 strategy in driving industrial innovation and sustainable growth.
Dubai WoodShow General Manager Walid Farghal said the exhibition continued to demonstrate its importance as a strategic business platform, citing the high level of commercial activity, growing engagement between exhibitors and buyers, and rising interest in advanced technologies.
Running alongside the main exhibition, the International Furniture Accessories, Components and Semi-Finished Products Exhibition (IFAC) is showcasing new materials and technologies for furniture manufacturing and interior fit-out, creating additional opportunities for business partnerships and innovation.
With one day remaining, organisers said Dubai WoodShow continues to strengthen Dubai’s position as a regional and international hub for the timber industry, offering a platform for trade, innovation and strategic business collaboration.
