Islamabad: Faisal Vawda appeared before the fact-finding committee in connection with the investigation of the Arshad Sharif murder case, while Murad Saeed sought answers from the committee.
Faisal Vawda reached the FIA headquarters in Islamabad and appeared before the Arshad Sharif Murder Fact-Finding Committee.
Faisal Vawda talking to the media after the appearance said that FIA has given a questionnaire based on ten questions, Arshad Sharif’s murder was planned in Pakistan, the fact-finding committee is doing the best work, hopefully these big people will be informed. Those who are not touched will be touched, Salman Iqbal has nothing to do with this murder, I will request him to come to Pakistan.
He further said that pushing Imran Khan to a long march is to take him to a closed street, by disqualifying Imran Khan, these people should become the prime minister, not me, Imran Khan should clean up the party.
On the other hand, Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Murad Saeed’s response to the notice sent by the fact-finding team came out. In his reply, Murad Saeed asked the fact-finding committee to answer ten questions.
Murad Saeed said that an impartial, transparent and independent inquiry cannot be expected from the FIA in the context of the current situation and the attitude of the federal government. The role of the federal government is also controversial regarding the official autopsy of Arshad Sharif.
He said that the fact-finding committee should investigate who were the plaintiffs who registered more than 16 cases against Shaheed Arshad Sharif and what elements were behind them.
Murad Saeed said that the fact-finding committee should find out who the investigative journalism of Shaheed Arshad Sharif was a threat to, who used to threaten and harass Shaheed Arshad Sharif in Pakistan, who released the pictures of his departure to Dubai.
Murad Saeed said that it should be traced on whose request Arshad Sharif was asked to leave Dubai in the lobby of the Dubai hotel. Who? He was compiling an investigative report against which powerful Pakistani?
He further said that after the incident, on behalf of the government officials and state institutions, how were press conferences based on allegations and against the facts in haste?
