Arshad Sharif’s murder-by-notice case scheduled for hearing

The Supreme Court has now fixed Arshad Sharif’s murder case for hearing after suo moto action.

According to Leading News, the Supreme Court of Pakistan had taken adjournment on the murder of Arshad Sharif, after which the court has scheduled the adjournment case for hearing yesterday.

A five-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Atta Bandyal will hold the hearing on January 5, which will be held at 1:00 p.m. Its bench also includes Justice Ijazul Ahsan, Justice Mazahar Ali Akbar, Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel and Justice Muhammad Ali Mazahar.

The Registrar Supreme Court has issued notices to the parties. The Supreme Court has also sought the interim report of the investigation from the Special JIT.
