country close to bankruptcy due to usurious policies, Siraj

Peshawar: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Siraj-ul-Haq has said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has become unsafe due to the actions of the central and provincial governments.

Addressing a meeting of provincial officials in Al-Maqruz-e-Islami Peshawar, he said that there is a severe wave of unrest. People’s lives and property are not safe. The federal and provincial governments are responsible for all this. Due to their infighting, the wheel of development has stalled.

Sirajul Haque said that the feeling of deprivation is increasing among the tribal people. The economic situation is getting worse from bad to worse. Inflation is increasing continuously. The prices of daily food items are continuously increasing. The people have become helpless due to the daily increase in the prices of flour, sugar, pulses. IMF and Sudi. The policies brought the country to the brink of bankruptcy.

He further said that the government and the law enforcement agencies have practically failed to protect the lives and property of the people. The country’s economy is on the verge of collapse and inflation has made the lives of the poor people miserable.
