Gujranwala: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Gujranwala has taken a significant step in the aftermath of the May 9 attack and arson case at Gujranwala Cantonment, ordering the property confiscation of 51 leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). This includes prominent figures such as Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, and Parvaiz Elahi.
The court, treating the accused as proclaimed offenders, has issued non-bailable arrest warrants against them. These leaders, including Imran Khan, are facing serious charges of terrorism and murder related to the violent events that unfolded during a PTI rally on May 9, 2023.

Among the accused Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) leaders listed are Yasmin Rashid, Ijaz Chaudhry, Murad Saeed, Hamad Azhar, Farrukh Habib, Umar Ayub, Ali Amin Gandapur, Zartaj Gul, Zubair Niazi, Akram Sahi, Shaukat Bhatti, Ahmed Chatta, Bilal Ejaz, and Zafarullah Cheema.
In addition to the property confiscation order, the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has mandated the display of copies of its directive at the residences of the accused and significant locations within the city(Gujranwala). The accused leaders of Tehreek Insaaf are urged to appear before the court to address the charges or risk facing legal consequences.
