Attack on Imran, JIT starts investigation of accused Naveed

Wazirabad: The accused of firing on Chairman PTI Imran Khan who was on the container during the long march in Wazirabad gave the details of the attack to the JIT.

According to Leading News, the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed to investigate the attack on Imran Khan has started investigating the accused Naveed. According to the sources, there is a contradiction between the claim of Chairman PTI Imran Khan and the statement of the accused regarding the motives of the attack.

Accused Naveed has said in the statement given to the JIT that I had planned the attack alone. Due to the lack of police in front of the container, they opened fire. He then tried to escape from the container in the right lane but was caught.

The accused told the Joint Investigation Team that he did not belong to any political or religious party and no one asked him to attack. According to the accused, he waited for 2 hours for the attack.
