Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has demanded the resignation of Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani.
According to Leading News, a meeting of the PTI and the United Opposition Parliamentary Party was held in the Senate and a declaration was issued. The Parliamentary Committee strongly condemned the assassination attack on Chairman PTI and former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The participants expressed serious concerns over the non-immediate registration of an FIR against the named accused in the attack and demanded that an FIR be registered immediately as per the request of the victimized party so that the perpetrators of the attack are brought to justice.
