D.I.Khan: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), in a spirited election rally at Haq Nawaz Park in Dera Ismail Khan, addressed a gathering of enthusiastic supporters, emphasizing the need for a transformative ideology and manifesto to alleviate the challenges faced by the people of Pakistan.
Expressing gratitude for the warm reception in DI Khan, Bilawal highlighted the longstanding relationship between himself and the people of the region, spanning three generations. He underlined the PPP’s commitment to representing the people and standing with them through thick and thin, in contrast to other parties that, he claimed, predominantly represent the elite.
Addressing the resurgence of terrorists, Bilawal declared, “We will suppress the terrorists once again,” recalling the historic election participation of former Premier Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto in DI Khan. With the upcoming election scheduled for February 8, Bilawal predicted a “rain of arrows” in DI Khan and stressed that only the PPP truly understands the challenges faced by the people.
Referring to the current economic crisis as the nation’s most significant challenge, Bilawal assured the crowd that the PPP would not abandon the people in times of trouble. He declared the competition in the upcoming election to be solely between the “arrow and the lion,” asserting that both Imran Khan and Maulana Fazlur Rehman are out of the race.
