Rawalpindi/Quetta: Five security personnel, including a captain, were martyred when a mine exploded during a clearance operation in Balochistan based on intelligence from the security forces.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), a clearance operation has been going on since yesterday in the Kahan area of Balochistan based on intelligence. During the operation, as a result of a landmine explosion, Captain Fahad, four other brave soldiers, Lance Along with Naik Imtiaz, Sepoy Asghar, Sepoy Mehran and Sepoy Shamoon were killed.
ISPR says that security forces soldiers accepted martyrdom by laying down their lives in defense of the motherland against terrorism.
Spokesman of the Pakistan Army said that such cowardly actions of the enemy elements cannot sabotage the peace and prosperity of Balochistan, the Pakistan Army is determined to destroy the evil intentions of the enemy.
According to ISPR, an operation is underway in the area to arrest the people involved in the incident.
President’s condolence
The President paid tribute to the soldiers of the Pakistan Army who were martyred during the clearance operation of the security forces in Kahan area of Balochistan and appreciated the efforts of the security forces to eradicate terrorism.
The President of the State expressed his condolences to the heirs of the martyrs and paid tribute to the services of the martyrs for the defense of the country and also prayed for their high status.
Condemnation of Federal Interior Minister Ranasthanaullah
Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of Captain Fahad and his other colleagues due to a landmine explosion during the clearance operation in Kahan Balochistan and prayed for the high status of the martyrs.
Rana Sanaullah said that the entire nation pays tribute to the spirit of patriotism and martyrdom of the officers and men of Pakistan Army.
He said that he has fought against terrorism before and will still fight it with all his might.
The Federal Minister of Interior said that every terrorist and enemy of the country will be wiped out, may Allah raise the ranks of our martyrs; May his family be blessed with patience.
