A group of doctors from Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) has examined Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, and announced her to be in good health. This comes after Imran Khan alleged that his wife was poisoned while in jail.
The medical report, released by PIMS, stated that after thorough tests conducted by four senior doctors, no signs of slow poisoning were found in Bushra Bibi. Although her health had declined after a meal two months ago, the tests showed no evidence of poisoning or traces of harmful substances in her blood.
Bushra Bibi’s appetite was reported to be abnormal, and she has been experiencing stomach pain. Despite this, the medical team deemed her condition satisfactory and declared her to be in good health.

Earlier, Dr. Asim Yousuf, Imran Khan’s personal physician, also examined Bushra Bibi and found no indication of poisoning. Bushra Bibi had claimed during a recent court hearing that she had been poisoned with a common toilet cleaner mixed into her food, causing various health issues.
She described symptoms like swollen eyes, chest and stomach discomfort, and a bitter taste in food and water. She asserted that she had previously found suspicious substances in her food, including honey, and now, the toilet cleaner. However, the medical examinations have found no evidence to support these claims.
