A case was registered against more than 700 workers of Tehreek-e-Insaf at the Chamkani Police Station for protesting at the Motorway Toll Plaza, closing the Motorway, and damaging the Toll Plaza.
In this case, other provisions including interference in government, damage to government property were added.
It should be noted that after the last Election Commission declared Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan ineligible, PTI blocked highways during protests at various places in Peshawar, including the highway, due to which the flow of traffic was affected and people He had suffered torture.
Later, on the orders of the provincial party leadership, the workers dispersed peacefully from the motorway.
