Islamabad: Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani rejected the reference of disqualification of Senator Yousaf Raza Gilani.
Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani while ruling on the reference of disqualification of Senator Yousaf Raza Gilani said that there were allegations against Yousaf Raza Gilani as a member of the National Assembly and Prime Minister. After his election as a senator in 2021, the disqualification reference is not justified.
The ruling further states that Article 63A does not apply to the reference against Yousua Raza Gilani. PTI Senator Azam Swati had filed a disqualification reference against Yousaf Raza Gilani for giving valuable vehicles from the treasury to two important personalities during the Prime Ministership.
