During the recent wave of terrorism, 7 terrorists of banned organizations were arrested in CTD operations.
According to the spokesperson of Counter Terrorism Department Punjab, the arrested terrorists have been identified as Khalid Mehmood, Mohsin Waqar, Muhammad Usman, Sher Muhammad, Luqman Rafiq and Farooq.
Explosive materials, arms, and prohibited literature were recovered from the possession of the terrorists. The arrested persons are involved in planning terrorism in sensitive cities of the province.
According to CTD spokesperson, 443 combing operations were conducted in different cities this week and during these operations, 19 thousand 630 suspects were checked while 90 people were arrested for belonging to banned organizations.
