Decision to form JIT for investigation of Capital’s suicide blast

Islamabad: A letter has been issued to form a joint investigation team to investigate the Sector I-10 blast.

Police officials have decided to form an 8-member JIT to investigate the suicide blast in Sector I-10/4 of Capital.

DIG recommended to Chief Commissioner Islamabad to form JIT. The JIT will be headed by SSP CTD.

The JIT will consist of 3 DSP members. Apart from SP Industrial Area, SDPO Vegetable Market, Investigation Officer, two officers from sensitive institutions will also be part of the JIT.

The JIT will conduct a thorough investigation into the blast and prepare a report.
