DUBAI: Dubai Police General Command extended its warmest congratulations and greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, and their brothers: members of the Supreme Council of the Union, Rulers of the Emirates, and the people of the UAE, on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the unification of the UAE armed forces.
The Dubai Police highly appreciated the significant and exceptional role of the UAE Armed Forces in serving the nation and elevating its stature, commending the diligent efforts made in building a modern, advanced military force that everyone takes pride in, promoting security and stability in the homeland, and protecting its borders. The brave servicepersons exemplify the highest meanings of sacrifice in the fields of honour and pride.
His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police, said: “On the 47th anniversary of the unification of our armed forces, we express our pride and appreciation for the men and women of our nation and the heroes who are dedicated to enhancing security and stability, preserving national achievements, and working tirelessly for the nation’s progress and its elevated status among nations.”
His Excellency Lieutenant General Al Marri confirmed that the wise leadership of the UAE has worked to establish armed forces with a global level of competence in all aspects, including capabilities, combat efficiency, and operational performance, supported by the latest technologies, equipment, and various types of training, in order to promote security and peace.
He added that “over the years, our armed forces have proven to be the strong shield of the UAE and the origin of strong and resilient individuals, always ready to defend their homeland with faith, loyalty, and strength, fostering stability and peace, defending justice, and supporting the oppressed.”
His Excellency Lieutenant General Al Marri affirmed that our armed forces had gained the admiration and appreciation of the world for their accomplishments in all tasks, both within the country and abroad.
