Durrani Calls for Probe into Supply of US-Weapons to Terrorists

Islamabad: The former federal minister and seasoned politician Mohammad Ali Durrani has called for a thorough investigation into the source and route of the latest US-weapons that have allegedly reached terrorists actively operating against Pakistan.

Durrani raised concerns about a surge in terrorism against Pakistan orchestrated with the aid of US-weapons and modern technology. Drawing parallels, he noted the utilization of similar weaponry and technology by Israel against Palestinians.

Advocating for enhanced collaboration in the fight against terrorism, Durrani suggested that the United States should assist Pakistan with its latest technology, emphasizing that such cooperation is in the best interest of both the U.S. and global peace.

Expressing apprehension, the former minister warned that if the supply of new weapons to terrorists is not curtailed, the potential for another incident similar to 9/11 cannot be ruled out. He underscored that the presence of advanced weapons and technology among terrorists poses a significant threat to global and regional security.

Durrani called for international cooperation to address this urgent issue and urged concerted efforts to eliminate the menace of terrorism. As tensions rise and security concerns escalate, the call for a comprehensive investigation into the alleged supply of US weapons to anti-Pakistan elements adds a new dimension to the ongoing discourse on global security.
