Islamabad: Senior lawyer Latif Khosa has officially announced his decision to join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). The announcement was made during a press conference where Khosa shared the stage with PTI leader Intizar Panjotha.
Panjotha extended a warm welcome to Latif Khosa, characterizing his decision as a pivotal moment in Pakistan’s political landscape. He praised Khosa, stating, “Latif Khosa will be remembered with golden words in the politics of Pakistan,” and revealed that Khosa’s decision was aligned with the vision of PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
Expressing his concerns over the recurrent removal of prime ministers through various means, Khosa questioned the sustainability of such practices. He remarked, “How long will the game of removing our prime ministers last? Some were beaten constitutionally and some physically. Today, we are looking at the courts again.”

Khosa urged the judiciary to uphold justice and avoid repeating historical pitfalls. “We expect the judiciary to give equal justice. 25 crore people are looking towards the judiciary,” he emphasized.
Turning his attention to the deteriorating law and order situation, Khosa voiced the public’s plea for security and protection of their lives and property. He highlighted the current lack of safeguards for life, privacy, and the sanctity of homes, urging authorities to address these pressing concerns.
In response to questions about his decision to join PTI amid reported departures from the party, Khosa offered a candid response, stating, “People say to me that everyone is leaving PTI after doing a press conference, and you are joining PTI. If loving the people of Pakistan is madness, then yes, I am mad.”
Khosa’s move to join PTI adds an intriguing chapter to the evolving political narrative in Pakistan, and his outspoken views on political stability and judiciary bring a fresh perspective to the ongoing discussions on governance and justice.
