Rawalpindi: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa paid farewell visit to Pakistan Military Academy Kakul and Baloch Regiment Center Abbottabad.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa was received by Corps Commander Rawalpindi Lt. Gen. Sahir Shamshad Mirza on his arrival at Kakul.
On this occasion, the Army Chief laid floral wreaths on the martyrs’ memorial and recited Fatiha.
According to ISPR, the Army Chief, while addressing the soldiers and officers of the PMA, appreciated the high quality of PMA in terms of military training and the role of the Military Academy in preparing future leaders. He said that the cadets should spend their energies in acquiring professional skills.
Later, the Army Chief visited the Baloch Regiment, laid a wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial and recited the Fatiha.
On this occasion, while interacting with the retired and serving officers, he paid tribute to the unprecedented sacrifices made for the sake of the nation.
Earlier, Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Azhar Abbas welcomed the Army Chief on his arrival at Baloch Regiment.
