German Ambassador meets Army Chief

Rawalpindi: German Ambassador to Pakistan Alfred Granas has met Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), issues of mutual interest, the overall situation in the region and bilateral cooperation in various fields were discussed in the meeting.

Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Germany. The Army Chief congratulated the distinguished guest on assuming the post of Ambassador, General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that relations between the two countries will further develop.

The distinguished guest expressed his sorrow over the flood disaster in Pakistan and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families. The ambassador also appreciated Pakistan’s continuous efforts for regional stability. In the meeting, diplomatic cooperation with Pakistan at all levels. Pledged to do their part for further improvement.
