Governor Punjab rejected the speaker’s ruling

Lahore: Governor Punjab Baligh-ur-Rehman issued an order under Clause 7 of Article 130 while responding to the ruling of the Speaker Punjab Assembly.

According to Leading News, the governor of Punjab has also issued a letter regarding the rejection of the speaker’s ruling.

Punjab Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman gave a 3-page reply in response to Speaker Sabatin Khan’s rolling, in which yesterday’s rolling of the Speaker by the Governor has been declared unconstitutional and illegal.

Governor Punjab said that you have taken oath under the constitution, you cannot deviate from it while the defense of the constitution and the observance of the law is the responsibility of the speaker.

Balighur Rahman said that the speaker should not take into consideration personal preference for fulfilling the constitutional responsibility because according to the constitution, the speaker is bound to fulfill the constitutional responsibilities honestly and impartially.

It should be noted that Speaker Punjab Assembly Sardar Muhammad Sabatin Khan had asked the President of Pakistan to write a letter against the misbehavior of the Governor of Punjab for the change of the Governor.

According to the sources, the letter will request that the Governor is the representative of the President to be prevented from taking steps based on violation of the Constitution.
