Govt announces up to Rs30 reduction in prices of petroleum products

Islamabad: The government has announced a reduction in the price of petrol by Rs 12 per litre.

Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the price of kerosene and light diesel has also been reduced by Rs 12 per liter while the price of high speed diesel has been reduced by Rs 30 per liter.

After the reduction in the price of petrol by the government, the new price will now be Rs 270 per litre. According to the Federal Minister, after the reduction of 30 rupees in high speed diesel, the new price will now be 258 rupees per liter.

He said that the price of kerosene will now be Rs 164.07 after a reduction of Rs 12 and the price of light diesel oil will be Rs 152.69 per liter after a reduction of Rs 12. After the reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel, Ishaq Dar has appealed to the transporters to reduce the fares.
