Islamabad: Punjab government has changed the joint interrogation team to investigate the firing on Imran Khan, RPO Dera Ghazi Khan Syed Khurram Ali has been appointed as the head of the committee.
According to leading News, the Punjab government had set up a committee to investigate the Wazirabad attack a day ago, in which the Punjab Home Department appointed DIG Establishment CPO Lahore Tariq Rustam Chauhan as the head of the JIT while RPO DG Khan Syed Khurram Ali and IG Investigation Branch Punjab Ehsanullah Chauhan, District Police Officer Wahari Muhammad Zafar Buzdar and SP CTD Naseebullah Khan were included as members.

The JIT formed by the Punjab government will conduct a complete investigation into the Wazirabad tragedy and submit its report to the provincial home minister and may increase the number of members if necessary.
It should be noted that a day ago Provincial Interior Minister Umar Sarfraz Cheema had said in a press conference that the preliminary forensic investigation has revealed that two people were involved in the attack on Imran Khan while two types of bullets were recovered from the containers.
