India Launches 6 Missiles, Hits Amritsar, Adampur: ISPR

Rawalpindi: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif has revealed that India fired six ballistic missiles a short while ago, with five landing in Amritsar and one in Adampur — both located within Indian territory.

Speaking to the media, the DG ISPR made a startling claim, stating that “India is targeting its own citizens,” adding that the attacks appear to be aimed at the Sikh community.

“India has deliberately struck its own population. This reckless act highlights a disturbing pattern, as the Sikh community continues to face systematic targeting,” Gen Sharif said.

He described the Ballistic Missiles launches as part of a larger false flag operation intended to escalate tensions with Pakistan and divert global attention from internal unrest and minority suppression within India.

The Pakistani military spokesperson warned that such provocations could have dangerous consequences for regional peace and stability. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peace but stressed that the country remains fully prepared to defend its sovereignty.

A day before, DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif on Friday firmly rejected Indian allegations linking Pakistan to the recent Pahalgam attack in Indian-administered Kashmir, calling them “baseless, politically motivated, and devoid of credible evidence.”

Addressing an important press briefing alongside senior officers from the Pakistan Air Force and Navy, Gen Sharif denounced what he described as a “false narrative” being promoted by New Delhi.

“India blamed Pakistan for the Pahalgam incident without presenting a shred of evidence,” Gen Sharif said. “Terrorism happens in Pakistan almost daily — and the country responsible for fuelling it dares to present itself as the victim.”

Highlighting the logistical inconsistencies in India’s claims, he pointed out that the attack site is 230 km from the Line of Control and located just over a kilometer from a local police station. “The Indian FIR suggests the attackers infiltrated across the border and executed the entire operation in under 10 minutes — a claim that defies logic given the geography,” he said.
