Islamabad: The official website of the Indian Gazette fell victim to a cyber attack as hackers replaced its content with references to the Pakistani thriller, Dhai Chaal, based on real-life events. Notably, the Indian flag on the website was replaced with Pakistan’s flag, bearing an eagle emblem. The breach was brought to attention by an X user, SOURCE (@SourceOSINT), who claimed the hacking incident on his handle. He urged users to watch the movie Dhai Chaal for further details about the hack, attributing it to the Bugtis and claiming it to be the “revenge of Balochs.”
In a statement, the producer of Dhai Chaal, Dr Irfan Ashraf, clarified that the film focuses on real-life events during the arrest of Indian Spy Commander Kulbhushan Jadhav, showcasing the success of Pakistani security forces. The movie aims to pay tribute to the sacrifices of Balochistan locals, promote the positive impact of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), expose Indian-sponsored terrorism in Balochistan, and shed light on Kulbhushan Jadhav’s activities.

The film has garnered public acclaim and trended on social media platforms, emphasizing its impact on the Pakistani film industry.
Despite the cyber attack on the Indian Gazette’s website, the focus remains on Dhai Chaal’s portrayal of Balochistan’s untold stories, showcasing the resilience of the country’s people and security forces against adversarial forces. The film has created a sensation, drawing large audiences to theaters and sparking conversations about the unique perspective it brings to the forefront.
