IPS 2026 to spotlight innovation, PropTech and future of real estate investment

22nd edition of international property show to bring investors, developers, government entities and technology companies together in Dubai from September 7 to 9

DUBAI: The 22nd edition of the International Property Show (IPS) 2026 will take place from September 7 to 9 at Dubai World Trade Centre, bringing together investors, developers, government entities, financial institutions, PropTech companies, startups and real estate professionals from around the world.

Held under the theme “Driving Real Estate Investment Through Innovation”, the event will focus on the growing role of technology, sustainability and digital transformation in shaping the future of real estate investment.

The event comes as the UAE continues to strengthen its position as a leading global investment destination through economic diversification, entrepreneurship, digital transformation and sustainable growth. Dubai, in particular, has emerged as a major international real estate hub attracting capital, talent and technology from markets worldwide.

The development of Dubai’s PropTech ecosystem is expected to feature prominently during IPS 2026. The Dubai PropTech Hub, established through a collaboration between DIFC Innovation Hub and Dubai Land Department, aims to support more than 200 PropTech startups and scale-ups, create over 3,000 jobs and attract more than $300 million in investment by 2030.

IPS 2026 will provide a platform for stakeholders to explore investment opportunities, establish strategic partnerships and exchange knowledge on emerging technologies and business models.

The exhibition will feature dedicated platforms including IPS Future Cities, IPS Startups & PropTech and IPS Services. These platforms will showcase smart urban development, artificial intelligence, digital property services, sustainable communities and other technologies transforming the real estate sector.

Dawood Al Shezawi, President of IPS, said innovation had become one of the most influential forces shaping the future of real estate investment.

He said IPS 2026 would bring together investors, developers, PropTech companies, startups, brokers, policymakers and technology leaders to promote investment, collaboration and sustainable growth in the UAE and international markets.

The event programme will include the Main Conference, Institutional Investors Conference, Developers Project Launch Platform, Investors Platform, Investment Destination Presentations, MOU Signing ceremonies, workshops, professional training programmes and the IPS Awards.

The event will also place emphasis on Emirati brokers and national talent through the IPS Emirati initiative, which provides UAE nationals working in brokerage, investment advisory and real estate services with greater visibility, engagement opportunities and access to international markets.

IPS organisers said the initiative would contribute to local capacity building and support the long-term development of the UAE’s real estate ecosystem.

The event is expected to serve as a meeting point for policymakers, investors, technology providers and industry professionals, connecting capital and innovation with emerging opportunities in global real estate.

With its focus on PropTech, future cities, digital transformation, institutional investment and Emirati talent, IPS 2026 aims to reinforce Dubai’s position as a leading destination for innovation-driven investment and sustainable urban development.
