Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has decided to reschedule the matric exams originally slated for March 14 in light of the upcoming Holy month of Ramzan. The decision aims to alleviate the inconvenience for students and teachers during this sacred period.
Nasarullah Khan Yousafzai, the Chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Peshawar, announced the revised schedule, highlighting that the decision was made after thorough consultations with all board chairmen in KP. The government’s directive to avoid conducting exams during Ramazan was a key factor in this strategic rescheduling.
Mr. Yousafzai emphasized the importance of prioritizing the ease and well-being of students and teachers during the Holy month. Recognizing the significance of Ramzan in the lives of the community, the government and education boards collectively agreed to postpone the matriculation exams.
