Karachi: PCB Management Committee Chairman Najam Sethi has said that his lips are sewn shut regarding the Asia Cup and the final decision will come after the meeting of the Asian Cricket Council in March.
Talking to the media at the National Stadium Karachi, Najam Sethi said that a decision is yet to be taken regarding the Asia Cup. The mega event will be decided soon. Regarding the meeting held in Bahrain, I cannot say anything.
He said that 80% of the matters have been resolved with Mickey Arthur for the chief coach of the Pakistan cricket team. The former head coach is coming to Pakistan in the next 10 to 12 days. The supporting staff will also be of his choice. The names will come out only after their decision.
Talking about the Pakistan Super League, he said that four venues have been selected for the PSL. The work is in progress, next year they will try to have league matches in Peshawar and Quetta as well. Will do more work in Quetta Bugti Stadium. Very good response from Quetta. I wish that PSL matches will be held in Quetta next year, PSK matches will also be held in Peshawar. If the provincial government of KPK hands over the stadium to us, its condition would be much better.
