Islamabad: Caretaker Minister for Interior Dr. Gohar Ijaz underscored the pivotal role of the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) in safeguarding national security during his visit to the NADRA headquarters on Tuesday. Accompanied by the Secretary Interior and Director General FIA, Dr. Gohar Ijaz was welcomed by NADRA Chairman Lieutenant General Munir Afsar, as stated in a press release.
During the visit, Dr. Gohar Ijaz received a comprehensive briefing on NADRA’s operations and its significance as a custodian of national identity. Emphasizing NADRA’s status as an organization of international standards, the Minister highlighted its crucial role as the guardian of national identity and its integral contribution to national security and safety.
