DUBAI: In response to the tragic fire incident in Ajman, a delegation from the Pakistan Consulate, led by Community Welfare Attaché Imran Shahid, visited Zayed Hospital, Kuwaiti Hospital, and Al Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah to assess the condition of the injured.
Among the victims, Mr. Ijaz, a resident of Shaheed Benazirabad, Sindh, has been removed from the ventilator at Zayed Hospital, Sharjah, with doctors considering a transfer to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) Hospital, Abu Dhabi.
Meanwhile, Mr. Shahid and Mr. Zahoor, also residents of Shaheed Benazirabad, are on ventilators at Al Kuwaiti Hospital, Sharjah, with varying degrees of burns.
Mr. Sikandar, another victim from Shaheed Benazirabad, receiving treatment at Al Qassimi Hospital, Sharjah, is under consideration for transfer to SSMC Hospital, Abu Dhabi, as doctors report 60 percent burns.
The team is actively engaged in providing support, and the Consul General, Mr. Hussain Muhammad, affirmed their commitment to ensuring maximum assistance for the victims.
The fate of Mr. Akbar, a resident of Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab, remains uncertain, with forensic analysis and DNA tests being conducted on a recovered burnt body suspected to be his. The consulate team has met with hospital authorities, treating doctors, and relatives, pledging to facilitate all necessary aid for those affected by this unfortunate incident.
